I am a PhD candidate working in Dr. Kenneth R. Brown's lab at the Duke Quantum Center.
My research focus is on quantum error correction. More specifically, my interests center around the following:
The focus of my PhD studies is on using a quantum-data syndrome code to extract syndrome information fault-tolerantly in a way that respects the structure of the underlying quantum code.
For different types of quantum codes, this necessitates different properties of a chosen syndrome measurement code.
